Amanda and I met 13 years ago on babycenter.com, we both unfortunately miscarried in the same month and found some peace, hope, and long lasting friendship on the miscarriage board. Our group became the August Angels and over the years we shared the trials and tribulations of getting pregnant, having babies, raising toddlers, divorce, moving, loss, and everything in between. We have leaned on each other in times of need, and in times of joy, and Amanda went on to have four amazing boys! Our group has dwindled over the years, and although we don’t all keep up with each other day to day, there are lasting friendships that we are all lucky to have.
