Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  I have been reading the blogs above for awhile now and I really love their Friday Favorites series so I figured I would join in.  Here are some of my favorites this week.

One- My Yeti Cup.  This cup is amazing and will keep your ice and drink cold for many hours.  I used it at field day at my kids' school last week and I still had ice in my cup by the time I left and this was after being out in the heat all day!  This would make a great Father's Day gift.

Two- Calia by Carrie Underwood.  As I was shopping for my husband's father's day gift at Dick's the other day I came across this line of activewear and swimwear and really liked it.  I bought the bathing suit top you see below, but there were quite a few I really liked.  It's hard for me to find bathing suits that have support and are cute at the same time.  This line really hit the mark! 

Three- School is ALMOST out for summer.  I can't wait to not make lunches and do homework!  Only one week left and only two full days of school, the rest they get out early.

Four- Orange is the New Black is back.  I am currently on episode 10 and it is so good this season!  Does anyone else watch it?  What do you think of this season?  Are you enjoying it?

Five- Can't wait to get back into the pool and do some underwater photography.  Underwater photography is hared but it's fun to try and play around with it.

A trip the Met

The weather in New York has been a bit on the colder, cloudy rainy side recently so finding things to do when you can't go to the beach or the pool can be a struggle.  However, I have promised my kids for awhile now that I would take them to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They both are very into drawing and have been studying famous artists in school so they were more than eager to get a chance to see famous art in person.  My husband was away this weekend so my mom came with me and the kids and we had a really great time at the museum.  

First Birthday for little Teagan

I love photographing first birthdays.  That age is just so fun and full of wonder and excitement.  You should know, if you book a first birthday with me, I will be taking bath shots after they have their cake because in a few years, those are the shots you will look back on and say "Awe, remember when they were so little we could bathe them in the sink?" or "Remember how every time we bathed her she used to try and drink the water from the faucet and would throw a fit when we turned it off?"  

First Communion for Francesca

Francesca was so beautiful on her first communion day.  I photographed her big sister two years ago on her special day and I was so excited to document Francesca's turn.  This mom and dad are so lucky to have three daughters who are all so special and unique.

Happy First Birthday Kate

Kate and her older brother are just the cutest, and I loved being able to capture her first birthday and a few for his third birthday.  She loved her cake and almost dove head first into it at one point.
